첨에 이 곡을 듣자마자, 너무 반해버려서 한동안 이 한곡만 계속 들었던 기억이 나네요.
NeoSoul을 접한적이 없거나, 어려워 하시는 분들이라도 이 곡 들으면, 아마 그 마음의 벽이 허물어 지지 않을까 생각합니다.
Musiq라는 뮤지션인데 서부 필라델피아 출신으로 본명이 탈리브 존슨(Taalib Johnson)이죠,
어떤분들은 보이스가 이상(?)하다고 말하실 수 도 있겠지만, 몇번 듣다보면 정말 매력적인 보이스라는걸 느끼실거에요. (특이한거로는 Stylistics도 한 몫하죠 ㅎㅎ)

아버지가 색소폰뮤지션이어서, 어렸을때부터 많은 음악들을 듣고 자랐으며,
필라델피아의 자랑거리인, 스티비 원더(stevie Wonder), 질 스코트(Jill Scott), 바이럴(Bilal), 재지팻내스티스(The Jazzyfatnastees), 노 퀘스쳔(No Question)같은 Soul, R&B의 거성들의 음악적 영향을 무시할 수 없다고 생각합니다.
이런 영향을 받으며 자란 Musiq + 흑인만의 그 깊은 Soul에서 나오는 보이스
그 엄청난 매력을 를 느끼실 수 있으실 꺼에요.
